The Lyceum Cafe was the place to be back in the sixties. There was a Cosmo Cafe across govan Road. There was the Lyceum Cinema next to that was the Nation commercial Bank the snooker hall between the bank and the factors office. Then David Watson’s next to the Cosmo Cafe and walk further on you pass Richards Bar on the right and a bit further on the Co-op where I used to go with ma mammy to do the shoppin’ Further on will bring you to Fairfield’s Ship Yard. My Da worked there a a joiner.
